Glojour Editorial

How we write and review

Everything we publish is written to help you decide, not to sell you a treatment. This page says who writes it, who checks it, and what we never do.

Who writes, and where the facts come from

Glojour Editorial is a small team. We use AI to help research and draft, and people are responsible for every word: an editor checks each piece against its sources before it goes anywhere.

Every factual sentence links to its source. We prefer clinical guidelines, regulators, professional bodies and peer-reviewed studies, and we quote the passage we rely on. When sources disagree, we say so.

Medical review

Every piece is reviewed by a verified doctor before it can be published, including pieces that make no medical claims, and the doctor approves the exact text. If the text changes afterwards, the approval no longer applies until they review it again, and the page stops saying it was reviewed.

A doctor's name appears on a piece only after they have accepted the reviewer terms in the app. Until then the page says a reviewing doctor checked it, without a name.

Reviewing doctors

The doctors who review Glojour Editorial will be named here once they have approved a published piece and accepted, in the app, to be named.

Six languages

Each language version is written from the reviewed original, with the same claims and the same sources, and read by a native speaker. A version still waiting for that read says so at the top.

What we never do

  • We do not publish prices, discounts or campaigns.
  • We do not rank doctors or clinics, and nobody can pay to appear in a piece.
  • We do not use patients' photos or before and after pictures in editorial.
  • Our pictures are generated still lifes with no people in them, and each one is labelled.
  • We do not promise results.

How doctors are verified

Before the verified badge appears next to a doctor's name, a person on the Glojour team reviews the licence details and documents the doctor sends us, then approves or rejects them. Only that team can switch the badge on, and every decision is logged.

The badge is not a recommendation. We do not check results, reviews or prices. Each verification falls due for a re-check by a person within 12 months, and nothing takes the badge off automatically. While a doctor is suspended, the badge is not shown on their profile and no new consultation requests reach them.
