1. Who operates Glojour

Glojour is operated by Ali Can Akdoğan. In this text, "Glojour", "we" and "us" mean Ali Can Akdoğan as the operator of Glojour.

Tomtom Mah. İstiklal Cad. Turhol Han No: 189 İç Kapı No: 3, Beyoğlu, İstanbul

2. What Glojour is, and what it is not

Glojour is a social platform that hosts and publishes the content its members create and share: aesthetic treatment journeys, questions and doctors' answers. Members can also find verified doctors, send them a consultation request and chat with them. Doctors and clinics use Glojour to keep their doctor page and clinic site, and to handle requests and patient conversations as a team.

Glojour acts in three roles. It is the community platform that publishes and hosts what members choose to publish. For clinics it is a technology provider: clinics use it for their request desk, patient records, team inbox and WhatsApp channel, and Glojour processes their patients' data only on their behalf, under the Data Processing Terms. It is also the data controller for accounts, for running and securing the platform, and for sending a patient's health information to the doctor the patient chooses. The Privacy Policy explains each role.

Glojour is not a health service provider. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe or give medical advice, and it does not arrange treatment, travel or bookings. Doctors on Glojour are independent professionals; each is solely responsible for the information, advice and treatment they give. In an emergency, call 112 or your local emergency number.
  • A consultation request is a conversation, not a booking. Sending one does not create a doctor and patient relationship or commit you or the doctor to anything. The doctor decides whether and how to answer.
  • "Verified" means we checked a doctor's identity and right to practise against the documents and records they gave us. It is not a recommendation, a ranking or a guarantee of any result.
  • Members' posts describe personal experiences. They are not medical information and may not apply to you.

3. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to use Glojour.
  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date. A doctor account must belong to the doctor named on it.
  • Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your account; tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
  • One person, one account. You may not create an account for someone else or pretend to be someone else.
  • If you sign in with Google, Google's terms also apply to that sign-in.

4. Posting in the community

You can share journeys, posts, photos, questions and comments. Our moderators review posts and photos before they are published, and we may decline or remove content that breaks these terms or the law.

  • Share only your own experience and only photos you have the right to share. Do not post photos of other people, or anything that identifies them, without their permission.
  • Do not edit before and after photos in a way that misleads.
  • Do not post advertising, prices, campaigns or promotions for a doctor, clinic or product, and do not post fake or paid reviews.
  • Do not post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful or sexually explicit, or anything that encourages treatment of people under 18.
  • You can post anonymously. Anonymous posts still follow these rules.

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce (including in another language through translation) and adapt it, only to run and show the platform, for as long as it remains on Glojour. You can delete it at any time.

To report content, use the report option on the content or write to info@glojour.com. We act on notices of unlawful content in line with Law No. 5651.

5. Doctors and clinics

  • You may open a doctor account only for yourself, and only if you are entitled to practise medicine. We verify your identity and right to practise, and we may suspend an account while we do so or if the documents are not valid.
  • You are responsible for everything you publish on your doctor page, your clinic site and in the community, and for its compliance with the rules on advertising and information in health services that apply to you. Do not publish prices, campaigns, superiority claims, testimonials or before and after images that the law does not allow.
  • Each time you upload or import a patient's before and after images, you state that you have the patient's written consent and that the images are unfiltered, unedited and taken under the same conditions. Such a post shows the warning that results of any surgical or interventional procedure may vary from person to person, and it takes no comments, likes or reshares.
  • Your answers to members are your own professional responsibility. Do not present a general answer as a diagnosis.
  • A clinic owner decides who joins the clinic team and what each member can see and do, and is responsible for the team's use of Glojour.
  • When you receive a patient's information through Glojour, you are a separate data controller for your own use of it, for example in your own patient records.
  • If you use the clinic features, the Data Processing Terms form part of these terms and govern how Glojour processes your patients' data on your behalf.

6. Clinic data and the WhatsApp channel

When a clinic keeps records about its patients in Glojour, or connects its WhatsApp business number to Glojour, the clinic is the data controller of that information and Glojour processes it as the clinic's data processor. The Data Processing Terms set out how: Glojour processes it only on the clinic's instructions and for no purposes of its own, keeps it confidential and secure, uses only the sub-processors listed there, helps the clinic answer the people concerned, tells the clinic about a breach without undue delay, and deletes it when the clinic's account is deleted.

A clinic that uses the WhatsApp channel must also: inform the people it messages as the law requires; send messages only to people who wrote to it first or who gave it permission to message them; follow the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Meta's terms for the WhatsApp Business Platform; not send advertising, health-related content the law does not allow on such channels, or sensitive identifiers such as identity or card numbers; and respect every request to stop messaging.

7. AI features

  • The AI preview is switched off. While it was on, a preview was an illustration made from a photo, never a prediction of a result, a medical assessment or a promise by any doctor.
  • Translations are made by an AI model and may contain mistakes. The original text prevails.
  • Drafts from the writing assistant are suggestions. The team member who sends a message is responsible for it.

8. Fees

Glojour is free today for patients and for doctors, and takes no payment through the platform. Glojour charges doctors and clinics no commission per patient, per consultation or per treatment, and does not plan to. Any payment for treatment is a matter between you and the doctor or clinic, outside Glojour. If we introduce paid features, we will publish their terms and prices before charging anything, and nothing will be charged without your clear agreement. See Fees and Refunds.

9. What you may not do

  • Use Glojour for anything unlawful, or to harm, deceive or harass anyone.
  • Collect other members' data, scrape the platform, or use automated tools to access it without our permission.
  • Contact members for marketing, or send messages they did not ask for.
  • Try to get around security, access controls, moderation or usage limits, or interfere with how the platform runs.
  • Use Glojour to offer or promote treatment to people under 18.

10. Our content and brand

The platform, its design and software, and the content we publish ourselves belong to Glojour or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them, beyond what your browser does to show the pages, without our written permission. The Glojour name and logo may not be used in a way that suggests we endorse you.

11. Suspension and ending your use

You can stop using Glojour and delete your account at any time from your settings; Data Deletion explains what happens. We may restrict, suspend or close an account, or remove content, if it breaks these terms or the law, puts others at risk, or if the law or an authority requires it. Where it is safe and lawful, we will tell you why.

12. Liability

Glojour is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We are not responsible for the medical services, advice or results of doctors and clinics, for what members or doctors publish, or for services provided by third parties such as Meta.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any liability that the law does not allow to be limited, and nothing limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms when the platform or the law changes. We publish every new version here with its date and a note on what changed. If a change is significant, we will tell members on the site before it takes effect. If you do not accept a change, you can delete your account; continuing to use Glojour after a change takes effect means you accept it.

14. Governing law and disputes

Nothing in these terms takes away the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim before the consumer arbitration committees and courts that law gives you.

15. Contact

For questions about these terms, write to info@glojour.com.
