1. The cookies we set
sb-…-auth-token
- Purpose
- Keeps you signed in. Without it you would have to sign in on every page.
- Type
- Strictly necessary
- Duration
- Until you sign out, and at most 400 days
glojour_locale
- Purpose
- Remembers the language you pick in the language menu, so that glojour.com opens in it. It is set only when you pick a language; until then the site chooses one from your country or your browser's settings and stores nothing.
- Type
- Preference, set only when you ask for it
- Duration
- Until you close the browser
ig_conn, ig_oauth_locale
- Purpose
- Only for doctors who connect their Instagram account: keeps the connection (encrypted) and returns you to the right language page after Instagram's sign-in.
- Type
- Strictly necessary for that feature
- Duration
- Seven days and ten minutes respectively
All of these are first-party cookies, set by glojour.com. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google sets its own cookies on its own pages under its own policy.
2. What we keep in your browser
Some choices are kept only in your browser's storage on your device. They are not sent to us with your requests, and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
- the treatments, journey stage and places you choose to see in the feed;
- notices and prompts you have dismissed, how often a prompt has been shown to you, and whether you declined notifications;
- a draft of a consultation request while you sign in, for at most 30 minutes, in that browser tab only;
- which Glojour Editorial pieces you have opened and the boxes you ticked in their checklists;
- where you were in the feed and on long pages, for that browser tab only;
- a random key for your browsing session, used to count post views without identifying you.
3. Measurement without cookies
We count page visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not follow you across other sites. Our own view counts use a key derived one way from your IP address and the date, not your raw IP address. The Privacy Policy explains this measurement.
4. How to control cookies
You can see and delete cookies in your browser's settings and block them for glojour.com. If you delete or block the sign-in cookie, you will be signed out and cannot stay signed in. If you delete the language cookie, the site chooses a language again on your next visit.
If we ever want to use a cookie that is not necessary for a service you asked for, we will ask for your consent first and update this page. Questions: info@glojour.com.
